issho ni ikimasen ka? · denwa bangou o kudasai · mata aimashou

You'll learn three tasteful lines for inviting someone along, exchanging a number, and suggesting meeting again.
The words
| Romaji | Japanese | Reading | Meaning | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| issho ni ikimasen ka? | いっしょに いきませんか? | いっしょに いきませんか | would you like to go together? (polite invitation) | |
| denwa bangou o kudasai | でんわばんごう を ください | でんわばんごう を ください | may I have your phone number? / phone number, please | In Japan, people usually swap LINE instead of phone numbers: rain o koukan shimasen ka? (ライン を こうかん しません か?) — shall we swap LINE? |
| mata aimashou | また あいましょう | また あいましょう | let's meet again |
How they differ
Soft invite shape: いっしょに + verb stem idea + ませんか?
「いっしょに いきませんか?」= shall we go together?
「いっしょに コーヒー いかが ですか?」= how about coffee together? (bonus shape)
Contact: 「でんわばんごう を ください」or softer「でんわばんごう を きいても いい ですか?」
In Japan, people usually swap LINE instead: rain o koukan shimasen ka? (ライン を こうかん しません か?) — shall we swap LINE?
Close: 「また あいましょう。」/「また こんど。」
Keep it app-appropriate: friendly interest, optional yes/no, no pressure. Soft declines you already know: 「いいです」/「ちょっと…」/「また こんど」.
Three steps: together? · number · again. いっしょに = side by side, でんわばんごう = phone digits, また あい = meet again.
One line: いっしょに・ばんごう・また あいましょう.
Next: Wave E polite wraps here (teineigo town + social). Wave F — street casual unlocks only after です/ます for shop, transit, greetings, thanks, rescue, and soft refuse feel comfortable. Until then, recognize casual in stories; don't produce it as your default. Next: plain だ / bare adjectives (peer casual).
