A man and his golden retriever discover that an evening trip to the dog park brings more than just exercise.

    Mateo laughed.

    "One time Gordo ate a whole sock."

  37. Todos empezaron a contar historias raras.

    Everyone started telling weird stories.

  38. —Luna le tiene miedo a la aspiradora —dijo Andrés.

    "Luna is afraid of the vacuum," said Andrés.

  39. —Coco le ladra a su propio reflejo —añadió Patricia.

    "Coco barks at his own reflection," added Patricia.

  40. —Gordo se niega a pisar el césped mojado.

    "Gordo refuses to step on wet grass."

  41. —Siempre hace lo mismo —dijo Mateo riendo.

    "He always does the same thing," said Mateo, laughing.

  42. Patricia sacó galletas caseras de su bolsa.

    Patricia pulled homemade treats from her bag.

  43. De repente, Luna se sentó perfectamente.

    Suddenly, Luna sat down perfectly.

  44. —¡Qué bien portada! —rió Andrés.

    "How well-behaved!" laughed Andrés.

  45. El sol empezó a bajar

    The sun began to go down

  46. y los perros se cansaron.

    and the dogs got tired.

  47. Luna por fin se echó,

    Luna finally lay down,

  48. con la lengua afuera, feliz.

    with her tongue out, happy.

  49. —Hasta mañana —se despidió Andrés.

    "See you tomorrow," Andrés said goodbye.

    and they walked home slowly.
